Welcome to the Chelsea Connoisseur foodie blog. I’m Gulnaz Jishi, a restaurant enthusiast based in London.

My love of flavoursome food stems from my childhood growing up in North Wales with my Chinese mother and Persian father, who both grew up in India. Meals times were diverse, with cuisines ranging from East to West and back again. I’ve grown up appreciating the subtleties of Western food as well as the heat and spice of the East.

Since moving to London ten years ago, I’ve explored the diverse London restaurant scene and shared my experiences with friends and family. I have also teamed my love of travel with discovering authentic and exciting worldwide cuisines. Through this blog I’d like to share my experiences with you.
